Research Collaboration Fellowships awarded to two Altoona faculty members

Two Penn State Altoona faculty members have been awarded coveted Research Collaboration Fellowships for summer 2015.

Cairsty DePasquale, assistant professor of biology, will work with collaborator Victoria Braithwaite-Read from the HUCK Institute of Life Sciences on "What do Zebrafish Want? Manipulation of the Rearing Environment to Investigate Housing Preference in a Common Laboratory Animal."

Kimberly Menard, assistant professor of criminal justice and women's studies, will partner with Barry Ruback from the Social Science Research Institute on "Prevalence and Processing of Child and Adult Sexual Assault: Longitudinal, Multi-dataset Analyses of Pennsylvania Counties."

The Research Collaboration Fellowship Program was created to encourage research collaborations between faculty members at Commonwealth Campuses and faculty from major research institutions at University Park and the College of Medicine.
