Spirit Halloween raises more than $58,000 for Child Life Program

Representatives from Spirit Halloween retailers recently presented a check for $58,410 to the Penn State Hershey Child Life Program as a result of their annual “Spirit of Children” marketing campaign. Each fall, Spirit Halloween stores across the country launch a couponing effort that allows shoppers to take 10 percent off of their purchases. In turn, Spirit Halloween provides another 10 percent to local children’s hospitals.At Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, funds allow the Child Life staff to welcome an assistant to the team for one year to gain professional experience. To date, the “Spirit of Children” campaign has generated more than $179,000 for the Child Life Program.
