Registration open for 'Voices' networking, professional development conference

Graduate Women in Science, a Penn State graduate student organization, invites faculty, staff and students to attend the 10th annual “Voices Networking and Professional Development Conference” beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, at The Atherton Hotel.

The event includes several panel and keynote speakers such as Sterling Professor Dr. Joan Steitz and author Renee Weisman. There will be networking opportunities, breakout discussion sessions and a workshop that will discuss “Success and Adversity in the Workplace.” Refreshments and lunch will also be provided.

Since 2005, the Voices conferences held at Penn State have provided participants with opportunities to interact with others from different backgrounds and experiences as well as provide then with information to help achieve their academic goals and have a successful work-life balance. Tickets for the 2015 conference are $10 for students, $15 for post-docs and $20 for faculty/staff.
