Agricultural and Environment Center offering summer internships for students

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- New, full-time summer internships are available through the Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center.

The Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center (AEC) was founded in 2008 by the College of Agricultural Sciences, and its Environment and Natural Resources Institute with the intention of enhancing the communication and integration of science in an effort to inform policy while building and improving partnerships that benefit working landscapes across the commonwealth.

Within its first six years, the AEC has experienced tremendous success. Through various programs and initiatives, the center has helped to establish Penn State as a leader in environmental problem solving, especially pertaining to agriculture and water quality.

The AEC has offices at both the University Park and Harrisburg campuses.

Both locations are providing full-time, paid summer internships to Penn State students to assist with projects and programs. Interns will gain valuable community engagement and outreach experience, and unique exposure to different partners from the private, public and nonprofit sectors.
