Career sites for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day sought

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day program on the University Park campus is seeking career sites for the 2015 event, which will be held the morning of Thursday, April 23. The Office of Human Resources and the Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity once again are co-sponsors of the program, which over the past decade has been attended by thousands of youth and their mentors. Any unit or office interested in being a career site should register by Feb. 13 at http://ohr.psu.edu/take-our-daughters-and-sons-to-work/site-registration-form/.

Because participating children will be accompanied by their parents and this is not a public event, employees at these career sites are not required to complete the mandated reporter training.

For additional information, contact Linda Tobin at lpt10@psu.edu or 814-863-4606.
