Stennett co-authors new book for aspiring entrepreneurs

Brian Stennett, 2004 Penn State Altoona graduate and founder of Stennett Insurance Agency, is one of 30 co-authors of "Get in the Game: The World's Leading Entrepreneurs and Professionals Reveal How YOU Can Get Off the Sideline and Start Improving Your Health, Wealth and Lifestyle!"

The idea for the book, a business strategy for aspiring entrepreneurs, originated with “Shark Tank’s” Kevin Harrington and will be published by Celebrity Press Publishing this spring. Stennett was asked to write a chapter on his experience in sales and provide advice to those looking to succeed in the sales industry.

Stennett began his career with Enterprise, selling cars. He was the No. 1 salesman for multiple years and was awarded numerous sales and customer services awards during his time with the company. He later moved from selling cars to selling insurance with Nationwide in 2012 and in just a little more than a year, Stennett was recognized as one of the top six percent of agents in the nation. His entrepreneurial drive led to him opening two agencies in Bellefonte and Howard. In 2014, he was awarded the Nationwide Champions Conference Agent, which is given to top agents across the country who have met rigorous sales and customer service goals. He hopes to open more agencies in the next year.

The royalties earned from "Get in the Game" will be given to Entrepreneur’s International Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating unique launch campaigns to raise money and awareness for charitable causes.
