Lehigh Valley project management program offers flexibility

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Penn State Lehigh Valley's Department of Continuing Education will offer its Project Management certificate program beginning Jan. 5, 2015. 

The series allows participants greater flexibility for completion. The program consists of four modules that can be taken consecutively for a Penn State certificate, or independently to satisfy either a desire for a particular skill or recertification requirements. The certificate also offers students the opportunity to gain 12 additional hours of instruction in Microsoft Project 2010 as an option, at no extra cost.

The series includes modules on Introduction to Project Management and Initiating the Project; Project Planning; Executing, Monitoring, and Controlling the Project; and Controlling then Closing the Project.

The cost is $589 per module and includes all textbooks and course materials. Classes will be held at the Center Valley campus, 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley, Pa.

Penn State is a Project Management Institute (PMI) Registered Education Provider.  All modules are approved for continuing education credit through PMI.
