Before Santa makes his annual trip around the world, he will make a very special visit to Penn State Greater Allegheny as the campus’ Alumni Society sponsors its 26th annual Breakfast with Santa at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in the Student Community Center. The event is sure to put a smile on the faces of the more than 100 disadvantaged children from the Mon Valley area. The event will include many activities and entertainment throughout the morning. Children will enjoy a delicious breakfast, candy and plenty of holiday magic. The highlight of the event is when Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on a fire truck. Each child will get to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and pick a present.  “The Alumni Society has been hosting the Breakfast with Santa for 26 years now. It is one of the ways in which we give back to the community and show our Penn State Pride. And, of course, we love getting the chance to brighten the holiday season for these children and their families,” said Denise Kubli, president of the Penn State Greater Allegheny Alumni Society. This event is made possible through donations from local area businesses, alumni, advisory board members, staff, faculty and friends of Penn State Greater Allegheny.
