Library training session for staff available online

"Must knows" for using a wide-range of services

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A recent professional development program organized by the University Libraries for Penn State staff is now available for viewing online. This program will be available for one month.

About 30 University Park staff and faculty participated in the session and were introduced to a wide range of University Libraries’ resources and services. The program covered a number of “must knows,” including how to find books, journal articles and other materials, and how to use online library tools. Borrowing basics, office delivery, interlibrary loan, equipment available for borrowing, and specialized resources and services were also highlighted.

For more information on the program, contact Megan Gilpin, Library Learning Services outreach coordinator, 814-867-0069 or mcg13@psu.edu.
