Penn State Wrestling Radio Network set for 2014-15 season

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Wrestling Radio Network has been finalized for the 2014-15 campaign and seven stations across the state will air the new season live. Forever Broadcasting's WRSC will serve as the flagship station for the network. In addition, the weekly Penn State Wrestling Radio Show will air on Wednesday's from 6 to 6:30 p.m. on the PA Sports Network.

The entire season will air on Forever's WRSC, rotating between the 103.1 FM and 1390 AM signals. Five other stations will carry head coach Cael Sanderson's Lions this year: WWCB 1370-AM (Erie/Corry), WBPZ 1230-AM (Lock Haven), WMRF 95.7-FM (Lewistown), WLAK 103.5-FM (Huntingdon) and WIEZ 670-AM (Lewistown, Sunday's only) complete this year's network. Jeff Byers will once again serve as the voice of Penn State Wrestling, calling each broadcast from mat-side with the Nittany Lions.

The weekly Penn State Wrestling Radio Show, hosted by Byers, will once again air on the PA Sports Network. The show airs on most Wednesday's throughout the season from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and begins on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

Penn State begins the 2014-15 on Sunday, Nov. 9, with a 2 p.m. home dual against Lehigh in Rec Hall. A limited number of SRO tickets are available for select Penn State Rec Hall dual meets, although the SROs for the Lehigh dual are sold out. For ticket inquiries, call 1-800-NITTANY.
