Fall sports wrap-up at Penn State York

Penn State York’s men’s soccer team closed out its 2014 season with a loss in the championship game of the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) in State College, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, Oct. 29. York lost to Penn State Brandywine in a 1-0 contest.

With a conference record of 8-1, York finished second to Penn State Brandywine in the conference. Their overall record is 9-7-1.

The York women’s volleyball team also made it to the playoffs but lost in the first round to Penn State Brandywine. Their record in the conference 8-6 and they placed seventh in the conference standing. Their overall record for the 2014 season is 10-9.
