Penn State Behrend business program ranked among nation's best

The Black School of Business at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is featured in "The Best 296 Business Schools: 2015 Edition," published this month by Princeton Review Books.

The school’s master of business administration program “provides the best value for a working student in the local area,” according to the Princeton Review, which ranks schools based on academics, job-placement rates and admissions selectivity.

The book includes profiles of each school, with ratings for academics, access to professors and minority representation. A survey of more than 21,000 students and school administrators adds context about campus life and students’ career plans.

"We take pride in this recognition for an important reason: It is based on student feedback," said Balaji Rajagopalan, director of the Black School of Business. "Our listing in the Princeton Review is recognition of our outstanding faculty, who deliver high-quality programs, and a testimony to the strong support of our partners -- businesses in the greater Erie region and beyond, alumni, career services and other schools on campus."
