Community Halloween events slated on campus

All members of the community are invited to take part in this year's Halloween events at Penn State DuBois.

Fall Family Fun Night is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 31 at the Penn State DuBois campus, and is free to everyone. Safe Trick or Treat will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. in the campus gymnasium, sponsored by Penn State DuBois Clubs. Following the trick-or-treat event, a 7 p.m. screening of the film "How to Train Your Dragon 2" will be shown, also in the gym.  Families are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for the movie. Family friendly crafts, food, games and plenty of candy will be available throughout the evening.

Additionally, the annual Delta Mu Sigma Honor Society Haunted House is slated from 7 p.m. until midnight Oct. 31, and Nov. 1, in the Smeal Building. The cost is $5 per person. The first 150 people can purchase pre-sale admission tickets for either night of the haunted house for just $3 per person if attending the Safe Trick or Treat at Fall Family Fun Night.

These events are made possible by PASSAGES, the Clearfield-Jefferson Drug Free Communities Coalition, and the Penn State DuBois Office of Student Engagement. For more information, call 814-375-4764 or email mag374@psu.edu
