UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State’s third primetime Big Ten game of the season, Oct. 25 vs. Ohio State, will kick at 8 p.m. and air nationally on ABC. The sold out game also will air on the Penn State Sports Network and www.GoPSUsports.com.

Coach James Franklin’s Nittany Lions (4-2) will be hosting the Buckeyes for a Penn State White Out, with all fans encouraged to wear white for the 8 p.m. kickoff in sold out Beaver Stadium. Penn State has its second bye of the season this week, while Ohio State hosts Rutgers on Saturday before traveling to Happy Valley.

The Penn State-Ohio State clash annually is one of the nation’s most highly anticipated contests. The teams have met every year since Penn State began Big Ten competition in 1993. The Nittany Lions and Buckeyes are East Division rivals starting this season and will continue to play annually.

The Nittany Lions and Buckeyes will be meeting in primetime for the sixth time in the past 10 seasons (2005, ’07, ’08, ’12, ’13 and '14), with four of the contests televised by ABC and two on ESPN.

Penn State will be making its fourth appearance of the season on an ESPN network. Every Penn State football game has been televised the past 10 seasons and 246 of the last 248 contests overall have been on TV. All Penn State football, and men’s and women’s basketball games air on the Penn State Sports Network and www.GoPSUsports.com.

The kick times and TV for Penn State’s five games in November will be determined and announced either six or 12 days prior to each contest.

Penn State fans have pushed the home attendance up an average of 7,110 fans (7.2 percent) per game during the first three games of this season in comparison to the initial three home contests in 2013. The Beaver Stadium crowd of 102,910 for the Sept. 27 game vs. Northwestern was the largest for a Penn State home, day game since the 2011 season.

Ticket sales for home games against Ohio State (sold out) and Maryland (Nov. 1) have already surpassed 100,000.

Tickets are available for Penn State's final three home games of the season: Nov. 1 vs. Maryland (All-University Day and THON Day); Nov. 15 vs. Temple (Military Appreciation Day/Seats For Soldiers) and the Nov. 29 Senior Day clash with Michigan State. The kick times for all three games are to be determined.

More than 4,600 tickets have been purchased by Penn State fans to be donated to active duty and veteran military personnel and their families through the "Seats for Soldiers" program at the Military Appreciation Day contest with Temple. ROTC elite, active duty, Wounded Warriors and veterans will be honored for their service to our country during halftime. "Seats for Soldiers" tickets are $35 and on sale by calling 800-NITTANY, weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
