UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State President Eric Barron's Oct. 2 appearance on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" is now available online.
Barron spoke from the C-SPAN Bus on campus about public policy issues impacting higher education institutions, as well as the role of the Big Ten athletic conference, student debt, and tuition and fees. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications from viewers.
The C-SPAN Bus arrived at University Park on Oct. 2 as part of its Big Ten Tour, which is in the last leg of its travels to all Big Ten schools to interview their university leadership. The bus offered an interactive, multimedia presentation center, as well as information about student internship opportunities with the news network.
