C-SPAN Bus to bring resources, internship information to campus

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The C-SPAN Bus will be visiting Penn State’s University Park campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2.

The bus, which houses an interactive, multimedia presentation center, will be parked outside the HUB-Robeson Center on Pollock Road. 

Bus visitors will learn about Web resources for class assignments and presentations, receive C-SPAN giveaways such as pocket Constitutions and pens, and discover internship opportunities.

University President Eric Barron will be interviewed on the bus by C-SPAN earlier in the day, and his segment will be aired between 8 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. as part of a Big Ten Tour that involves C-SPAN learning more about the conference's universities as well as the leaders of those institutions.
