WPSU airs retrospective on Terrell Jones

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- WPSU-FM aired a retrospective on the life of W. Terrell Jones on Thursday, Sept. 25. An archived version of the piece is available for listening at http://radio.wpsu.org/post/terrell-jones-memorial. Jones, vice provost for Educational Equity at Penn State, died Aug. 19. He was 64.

A University-wide memorial service was held in Jones' honor on Tuesday, Sept. 23, in Worship Hall, at the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center on the University Park campus. As vice provost, Jones was responsible for leading the implementation of the University’s strategic plan that embraces and supports diversity. Jones started his career at Penn State as a residence hall area coordinator in East Halls in 1980.

The family requests the in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Albright-Bethune United Methodist Church, PO Box 153, State College, PA 16803. Contributions can also be made to the Dr. W.
