Zolten to be heard on NPR's 'American Routes'

Jerry Zolten, associate professor of communication arts and sciences at Penn State Altoona, will be a guest on the internationally syndicated NPR show "American Routes." The program will air two segments: an hour with legendary cartoonist Robert Crumb and Zolten, and an hour in which Zolten will speak about his album "Chimpin' the Blues," which has just gone into a vinyl fourth pressing. He will also talk about his work on rock 'n' roller Jack White's "The Rise and Fall of Paramount Records," about to come out with Volume 2.

The show can be heard on WPSU from 8 to 10 p.m. Sept. 27.
