UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Blue & White Society will welcome new and returning students with its annual fall semester kickoff event, “Blue & White BASH,” on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hintz Family Alumni Center. The event was originally scheduled for Sept. 2, but was postponed because of weather.

All University Park students are encouraged to join the fun-filled evening of free food, entertainment and giveaways before the stresses of the fall semester arrive. The Nittany Lion will be attending, as will Penn State baseball coach Rob Cooper and men's ice hockey coach Guy Gadowsky. There will also be a dunk tank featuring special guests and student leaders, a mechanical bull, inflatables and a special photo booth for sharing with friends.

Blue & White Society members can pick up their limited-edition T-shirt at the bash. The event, sponsored by Fullington Trailways, is an opportunity for those interested in becoming more involved on campus and learning more about the Blue & White Society. Attendees can sign up for a variety of committees.
