Tutorial available on sound Data Management Plan creation

A sound Data Management Plan (DMP) could tip the scale in your project’s favor when it comes to grant funding. The Data Management Planning Tutorial is an online learning resource that provides researchers, especially primary investigators, graduate students, and postdocs and other project staff, with a foundation for preparing a DMP. Increasingly funding agencies, such as the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health and the National Endowment for the Humanities' Office of Digital Humanities, and U.S. government departments, such as the Department of Energy, are requiring DMPs to be submitted as part of grant proposal applications.

This online tutorial will help you understand what a DMP is, its purpose, what is required in a DMP and ways to get further help from the University Libraries in writing one. Each module ends with a short quiz to assess your understanding of the content addressed in the module.
