Penn State Brandywine to host PACAC college fair Sept. 30

Choosing the right college or university is an important, yet challenging decision. Comparing thousands of schools can be overwhelming for many high school students. To help with the decision-making process, Penn State Brandywine will host the Pennsylvania Association of College Admissions Counselors’ (PACAC) Delaware County Regional College Fair from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, in the Commons Building gymnasium.

High school students and their families are welcome at this annual event, which has become known as the “kickoff” to the college admissions season. Students and families can meet face-to-face with admissions counselors representing more than 140 colleges and universities from across the United States. Attendees will receive information about academic opportunities, scholarships, the admissions process and much more.

Penn State Brandywine is located at 25 Yearsley Mill Road in Media. The campus offers four-year degrees, undergraduate research opportunities, honors, civic engagement and global studies programs, and a variety of varsity sports.

Organized by Brandywine, the fair is free and open to all high school students and families. No pre-registration is required.
