Tyler Care named the new men's basketball head coach at Greater Allegheny

Penn State Greater Allegheny has announced that Tyler Care has been named the new head coach of the men’s basketball program.

Care comes to Penn State Greater Allegheny after being the graduate assistant coach at California University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, he was the associate head coach at the Community College of Beaver County.

Care is very familiar with the PSUAC and USCAA conference. He played his collegiate career at Penn State Beaver. While at the Beaver campus, the team was a three time PSUAC conference champion and a USCAA National Tournament Runner Up.

“I am very excited to be returning to Penn State, since I am a graduate of the university,” stated Care. “I am thankful for this opportunity and I look forward to starting the season.”
