Plans are well underway for the 11th annual All That's Jazz Scholarship Benefit at Penn State Greater Allegheny. All proceeds from the event will be added to the Penn State Greater Allegheny Scholarship Fund, so guests will be contributing to students' success as they sample the fabulous food, enjoy the entertainment, and bid on great auction prizes.

The event promises to be exciting and a little different this year with Broadway’s Next H!T Musical, NYC's original, award-winning improvised musical comedy, providing the fast-paced live entertainment.

The All That’s Jazz committee is planning an exciting evening to include a live auction, a silent “theme auction,” and the popular Blue and White “mystery” auction. A trip to Costa Rica will be the highlight of the auctions, along with other travel packages, a variety of retail and restaurant gift cards, and tickets to sporting events and cultural attractions. A delicious “New York Italian” menu is being planned in keeping with the Broadway theme.

“More than 90 percent of students at Penn State Greater Allegheny are eligible for student aid. Scholarships are increasingly important to our students and their families,” said Penn State Greater Allegheny Interim Chancellor Nancy L. Herron.  “Money raised at All That’s Jazz helps students stay in school until graduation.”

Since 2004, All That’s Jazz has raised more than $730,000 for the Penn State Greater Allegheny Scholarship Fund. The event will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Penn State Greater Allegheny Student Community Center, 4000 University Drive, McKeesport. The public is invited to join in the festivities to help support student scholarships. Tickets are $125 each or 10 for $1,125.
