UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – A total of 41 radio stations in five states will carry the Penn State Sports Network's "The Penn State Football Show Presented by Pepsi" this season, with the debut program set to air Thursday, Aug. 21. The program also will be carried live on GoPSUsports.com via Penn State All-Access.

The one-hour program will take place at Damon’s Grill on East College Avenue in State College at 6:05 p.m. every Thursday from late August through the end of the football season. In late November, "The Penn State Basketball Show Presented by Pepsi" will debut from Damon’s Grill on most of the same Network stations and run through mid-March. Fans are invited to attend the program throughout the year.

Football coach James Franklin, men’s basketball coach Patrick Chambers, assistant coaches and members of the football and Nittany Lion basketball teams will be among participants on the programs. Fans should note that Franklin may not be present at the start of the show, depending on the length of practice.

The second football program will be held at 6:05 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, due to the team’s travel to Dublin, Ireland, for the Aug. 30 Croke Park Classic vs. UCF. The last two football programs will take place at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18 and 25.

"The Penn State Football Show Presented by Pepsi" will feature Franklin and other members of the football program answering questions from fans at Damon’s Grill and online. Fans can submit questions to www.GoPSUsports.com/askthecoach.

Steve Jones, the radio play-by-play voice of the Nittany Lion football and basketball teams, is host of "The Penn State Football Show" and will be joined by Roger Corey, who hosts the Penn State Sports Network’s football pre-game "Tailgate Show." Jeff Tarman is the producer of the show. Jones and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jack Ham will be calling Penn State football on the Penn State Sports Network for the 15th consecutive season.
