Men's track and field No. 7 in latest USTFCCCA poll

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State men's track and field team moved up one spot in the latest top-25 of the National Computer Rankings, as released by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Nittany Lions are slotted at No. 7 spot, up one spot from last week, following a strong showing at the first scored meet of the season in the Sykes and Sabock Challenge Cup this past weekend in Happy Valley. The men's team won the meet by over 142-points.

Penn State is represented by six marks on the men’s side and two on the women’s side in the top-10 of Division I rankings, while at the conference level, Penn State has 23 performances on the men’s side and 12 on the women’s side in the top-10 of the Big Ten Conference.
