Miracle Marathon to benefit CMN at Penn State Hershey

The Miracle Marathon, a wellness challenge to benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, will take place from Sept. 16 to Oct. 12.

The Miracle Marathon is a virtual fundraising campaign in which participants move one mile per day for 27 days at their own leisure. It doesn’t have to be running – participants can walk, swim, bike ride or even dance or play a sport for 20 minutes each day.

The virtual setting allows each participant to set a daily start time and for participants to form teams with people in different geographic locations.

A standard marathon is 26.2 miles. The Miracle Marathon is 27.2 miles, with a pledge to go one extra mile for the kids.
