UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Go behind the scenes of Penn State’s athletic facilities this summer, courtesy of the Penn State All-Sports Museum.
Fans can tour Beaver Stadium on July 11, 12 and 13. The 75- to 90-minute tours takes visitors into parts of the stadium generally closed to the public, including the Nittany Lions’ home locker room. The tours begin at 3 p.m. Friday and continue at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, and at 11 a.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children, students, seniors ages 65 and older, and Friends of the Penn State All-Sports Museum.
On Saturday, July 19, fans can see how football players spend their time during the season. With tours beginning at 9 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., visitors can explore the Lasch Building, with stops at the practice fields, weight room and meeting areas, before boarding the iconic Blue Buses for the ride to Beaver Stadium. Once at the stadium, tour participants enter the home team locker room before walking out to the field and seeing the media room. Cost is $60 per participant. Tickets may be ordered at 800-NITTANY. Space is limited.
