Shenango campus to hold application week in July

Prospective students interested in applying to Penn State Shenango for the upcoming fall semester can have their $50 application fee waived during the campus’ Last Call for Fall week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Monday, July 14, through Thursday, July 17, in the Admissions Office, Lecture Hall 225, in downtown Sharon, Pennsylvania. Fall semester begins Monday, Aug. 25.

Prospective students can learn about areas of study; student aid and scholarship opportunities; career services; academic assistance; campus activities; and the admission process. 

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with admissions counselors, tour the campus, apply online and complete their FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid). To receive assistance in completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, prospective students must bring a copy of their 2013 federal income tax form. Students are also required to bring any transcripts from high school or previously attended colleges or universities.

Mahoning and Trumbull county residents should inquire about the in-state tuition grant.
