Pair of professors win bronze from IndieFab Book of the Year Awards

Todd Davis, professor of English and environmental studies at Penn State Altoona, and Kenneth Womack, professor of English and integrative arts, each earned Bronze Awards in ForeWord Reviews’ 16th annual IndieFab Book of the Year Awards, which are judged by a select group of librarians and booksellers from around the country. The awards were announced at the American Library Association Annual Conference in Las Vegas on June 27.

Davis earned the Bronze Award for his fourth book of poetry, "In the Kingdom of the Ditch," published by Michigan State University Press. Womack earned the Bronze Award for his third novel, "Playing the Angel," published by Stephen F. Austin State University Press.

Womack also serves as Penn State Altoona’s senior associate dean for Academic Affairs.
