Ride free and 'Dump the Pump' on June 19

With energy cost concerns on everyone’s mind, CATA will join other public transportation systems nationwide to encourage area residents to participate in the ninth annual Dump the Pump Day on Thursday, June 19.

Sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), Dump the Pump Day is an event that encourages people to ride public transportation to help conserve gasoline and to explore alternative, more cost-efficient transportation options.

To enjoy the cost savings and the many other benefits public transportation provides, on June 19 leave your car at home, invite a friend or co-worker to join you, climb aboard and join CATA in participating in national Dump the Pump Day.
