Shenango offers TEAS V prep course this summer

Penn State Shenango will offer a preparatory course for the TEAS V exam from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning July 9 through Aug. 20, in the campus Science Building, Room 108, located on Shenango Avenue in downtown Sharon. The cost of the course is $199.

The TEAS V exam is required both nationally and locally for the admission to nursing and allied health professional schools, including Sharon Regional Hospital School of Nursing and Jameson Health System School of Nursing. Students who have not been in the classroom for a while or those who struggled with math, English, science or language in high school are encouraged to enroll.

This seven-week course, which will be partly offered in the classroom, as well as online, will help students prepare for the TEAS V test. The course will provide instruction on test taking skills and strategies. It is ideal for students who have taken the exam previously, as well as students who are preparing to the test in the early fall of 2014.
