Brodhead Cultural Center announces 38th season of summer programs

The Penn State Beaver Brodhead Cultural Center will host its 38th season of summer programs in July and August. Shows are free, open to the public, and held in the J.P. Giusti Amphitheater, with the exception of the Center Theatre Players' musical, which has a $15 admission fee and will be held in the Beaver campus Student Union Building auditorium. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

In the event of inclement weather, shows scheduled at the amphitheater will be moved into the auditorium. There are no rain dates.

This summer's program sponsors are The Times; Harper & Hodge; Beaver Valley Musicians Union Local 82-545; and the estate of the late James Corwin, a longtime friend and fan of the Brodhead Cultural Center. Additional sponsors requested anonymity.

The Penn State Beaver Varsity Club will sell concessions before and during all shows. Proceeds benefit Beaver campus student-athletes.

The Beaver Valley Area Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association will sell Penn State Creamery ice cream prior to the indicated shows. Proceeds from ice cream sales benefit the Alumni Chapter’s scholarship for Beaver campus students.
