Summer youth programs set for June at Penn State DuBois

The nationally recognized and award winning summer youth program Kids in College (KIC) will return to Penn State DuBois this summer.

Since 1985, summer programs at Penn State DuBois have provided fun learning opportunities in reading, science, art and more for thousands of youngsters. The main objective of the program is to increase students' interest and knowledge in the arts, science and technology, and to provide challenging experiences which are not part of the regular school curriculum.

Classes this year include, the Motorized LEGO Lab, Wild Weather, The Engineer's Apprentice and much more. KIC programs are for youth from age 4 through grade six.

Sessions are scheduled for June 16 to 19, with additional one-day programs on Friday, June 20. A second session is slated for June 23 to 26 with additional one-day courses on Friday, June 27.

A full list of courses and an online registration form can be found at www.dubois.psu.edu/youth.
