Sketch released of indecent assault suspect

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State University Police are seeking help in identifying the suspect in an indecent assault May 3 outside McElwain Hall

The suspect is a college-aged white male; standing 5-feet, 5-inches; with dark, short hair; and dark, full eyebrows. He was seen wearing dark sweatpants and a dark sweatshirt with sneakers.  

The assault was reported to University Police at 3:28 p.m. May 3. The reported assault occurred between approximately 1:45 and 2 a.m. May 3 in the south loading dock area outside of McElwain Hall in the South Residence Halls Complex, adjacent to Simmons Hall.

Anyone with information should contact Penn State University Police at 814-863-1111 or Centre County Crime Stoppers at tip@centrecountycrimestoppers.org. Anyone providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of as much as $1,000 from Centre County CrimeStoppers.
