Students invited to review Penn State self-study on accreditation

Penn State is seeking student feedback on a self-study created in advance of a 2015 site visit from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Middle States Commission is the regional agency that provides accreditation for the University.

Students have the opportunity to review and comment on the University’s report, titled “Living the Land-Grant Mission in a Global Context.”

Students, faculty and staff can access the report on the study website by logging in with a Penn State ID. Identifying information will not be recorded with comments, and submissions will be anonymous to the degree permitted by technology unless a commenter provides identifiable details.

Penn State’s most recent accreditation reaffirmation process began in June 2012 to launch the self-study. After comments, discussion and revision, the final report will be completed in fall 2014.
