Annual Beaverfest celebration is underway

Penn State Beaver’s annual Beaverfest began Thursday, April 24, and will continue through the evening of Friday, May 2. This longstanding, traditional event provides campus students with a break from studying before finals as well as an opportunity to combine some much-needed down time with spring weather.

A series of events will be held every day, including a Holi Festival, which is an ancient Indian spring festival of colors; a cultural fiesta; bonfires; ultimate Frisbee tournament; lunchtime luau in the Brodhead Bistro; student talent contest; 90s music trivia contest and block party; kickball and dodge ball games and a wide variety of additional events.
