Presentation to explore the world of modern day slavery

Penn State Hershey will host a presentation by advocacy group Women at Risk Int’l titled “Modern Day Slavery: Trafficking & Exploitation of Vulnerable Women” at noon April 23 in Lecture Room C. The issue of human trafficking has been raised in the news. Health care personnel need to be aware of potential signs that a woman or girl is being trafficked. Women At Risk Int’l currently works in nearly 40 countries creating havens of safety and healing for at-risk women and children.

Becky McDonald, president of Women At Risk Int’l, will share stories and lessons from her international experiences working with trafficking victims.

Lunch will be provided. RSVP by April 17 at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WomenAtRisk.
