Honors students to present Literary London videos

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Students in Barbara Cantalupo’s Honors English literature course are scheduled to present video memoirs of their trip to London at Penn State Lehigh Valley on three upcoming dates. On April 23 and 28, students will present their videos at 1 p.m. in Room 135. On April 29, they will present at 12:15 p.m. in Room 220. This event is free and open to the public.

Students used their studies of British literature to help create their films. The assignment required students to choose a British author and discover his or her presence in England; some students discovered their authors in London while others traveled to Oxford and Cambridge to find theirs. The students traveled to London during their spring break in early March.

During the presentations, audience members are asked to give feedback on each video. One student will be chosen as a winner based on audience feedback.

The presenting students are:

-- April 23: Rabia Anwar, Hanna Daher, Joey Hutzayluk, Kyle Paragian, William Sampson, Matthew Schleicher and Michael Thor

-- April 28: Shelby Carr, Manuel Colón, Luxi Gong, Blake Kearney, Megan Marzella, Perla Matos and Taylor Rundatz

-- April 29: Lennette Benzo, Brandon Hoffert, Carmen Lalama, Melinda Mayer, Dana Rozakis, Karl Santy and Darshan Shah
