Schreyer Honors College launches mobile-friendly website

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Schreyer Honors College recently unveiled its redesigned website. Launched at the end of March, the site was built around two key ideas: easy navigation on mobile devices and relevant content for users, with special focus on prospective students.

The site features the following upgrades: updated images of current students, a more prominent news section, an up-to-date events calendar, a “Meet the Scholar” feature and videos that offer a student perspective of life in Schreyer. Links to maps and parking information make visiting the college even easier.

For current students, information about academic requirements, the honors thesis, research opportunities and other resources is prominently featured.

Added to the site is a section for parents of current students along with more information to connect alumni and donors with what’s happening in the college.

“Our goal has been to create a website that puts information at people’s fingertips while at the same time giving us a platform to showcase the vibrancy of this college and our students,” said Christian M. M. Brady, dean of the Schreyer Honors College. “It is our hope that the work done over the past year has achieved that.”

Additional enhancements to the site are planned in the coming months.
