Beaver campus Faculty Speakers Series rescheduled for April 15

The Penn State Beaver Faculty Speakers Series program originally scheduled for April 1 has been rescheduled for noon Tuesday, April 15, in Room 16, Student Union Building. Irene A. Wolf, senior instructor in philosophy, will present “An American Woman's International Teaching Experience; Travel and Teaching in Guangzhou, China.” The program will explore the time she spent teaching and living in China last summer. Wolf’s research areas focus on various aspects of philosophy, including diversity, culture, advocacy, altruism and women’s issues. She holds a doctorate and a master’s degree in philosophy from Duquesne University and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology from the College of St. Benedict.
