The fourth annual GA 5K will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday April 26, at the Penn State Greater Allegheny campus, rain or shine. The route will start at the Penn State Greater Allegheny Student Community Center and wind through Renzie Park. Created to challenge Penn State Greater Allegheny students both physically and mentally while affording them an opportunity for civic engagement, this annual event will benefit Sonshine Community Ministries and the Wounded Warrior Project. To qualify for a free T-shirt, registration must be completed no later than April 9. The cost is just $25 for adults and $12 for students and children. On-site registration and packet pick-up starts at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event. Runners will start at 9:30 a.m. and walkers at 9:45 a.m. Penn State students, faculty, staff, friends, families and the surrounding communities are all invited to participate.
