Sandia Labs expert to address Complex Adaptive Systems of Systems Engineering

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Kevin Stamber, distinguished member of technical staff at Sandia National Laboratory, will speak at 4 p.m. April 1 in 220 Hammond Building.

His lecture is titled "Complex Adaptive Systems of Systems Engineering (CASoS) and Analysis for Leadership."

Stamber will discuss the challenges of understanding and engineering CASoS, such as interdependent infrastructure systems. The goal is to engineer solutions to problems within complex and critically important social, economic, ecologic and technical systems at their nexus, with influence spanning a wide range of geographic scope.

The event is free and open to the public.
