UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – University Health Services’ HealthWorks peer education group will present "The Body Monologues" at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, in 110 Business Building on the University Park campus of Penn State.

"The Body Monologues" is a project designed to foster conversations about body image through theatre. During this one-night event, Penn State students will take to the stage to voice their musings, challenges, and triumphs related to their bodies. Admission is free.

After the performance, audience members and performers will have the opportunity to share their opinions and ask questions about body image.

“It’s our hope to provide a safe space and brave place for discussing these difficult issues that affect so many,” said Kimberly Liao, health educator with University Health Services.

"The Body Monologues" is a part of a continuing awareness campaign by HealthWorks that focuses on improving body image.
