Next University Staff Advisory Council luncheon set for April 18

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The University Staff Advisory Council will offer the next installment of its Brown Bag Networking Luncheon Series from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, April 18, at a central campus location to be announced.The goal is to provide staff with the opportunity to gather together and network with each other to discuss a topic of common interest. The discussion will be predominantly participant driven, so come prepared to share your thoughts and learn how you might benefit from networking with other Penn State staff.The focus of our April luncheon will be “An Excuse to Talk about Our Kids!” Staff members are invited to share tips and tricks that work for them in raising the children in their lives. Let’s share ideas for affordable child care. Share your favorite annual events for children. Bring thoughts about raising your teenagers and helping them transition. Most importantly, bring an open mind. Dessert and beverages will be provided.Space is limited to the first 14 participants. RSVP to skt2@psu.edu by Thursday, April 10.
