Congressman Thompson to present 'From the Hill: Perspectives on Agriculture'

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- U.S. Rep. Glenn Thompson, R-5th District, Pennsylvania, will visit Penn State's Dickinson School of Law from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 17, to discuss developments in agricultural and energy policy on Capitol Hill. Hosted by the Agricultural Law Society, the event will be held in Room 114 of the Lewis Katz Building, University Park, with simulcast to Room 104, Lewis Katz Hall, Carlisle, Pa. The public is welcome to attend.

A 1981 Penn State graduate, Thompson — widely known as “GT” — is a member of the House Agriculture Committee and is now serving his second term as chairman of its Subcommittee on Conservation, Energy and Forestry. He also serves on the Natural Resources Committee, and the Education and Workforce Committee.
