Continuing Education will offer SAT Review course

The Penn State Beaver Office of Continuing Education will offer an SAT Review course at various times and locations this spring. Course fee is $225.

The course will be held 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 15 through April 26 and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 26 through May 31, at Beaver campus.

A course will be offered only for Shenango Area High School students, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15 through April 26. In addition, the class will be held for high school students in Lawrence County from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, April 8 through May 1.

Course participants will use the Official SAT Study Guide: Second Edition, which contains ten practice tests, plus additional material. Beaver campus mathematics and English faculty will teach the mathematics and verbal sections of the review course. Each instructor is familiar with the exam and the steps necessary to prepare students for successful test taking. If requested, faculty members will be available outside of class sessions to discuss questions and provide tips.
