Annual vascular ultrasound conference set for May 17

Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute is hosting an educational program focused on vascular ultrasound for health care providers. The Vascular Ultrasound Symposium will be held on Saturday, May 17, at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey in Harrisburg.

The focus of the program is to provide a venue for health care professionals to learn and discuss best practices and emerging trends in the field of vascular noninvasive diagnostic procedures, including peripheral and visceral vascular ultrasound.

This year’s Keynote Speaker is Phillip Bendick, a consultant in vascular ultrasound and noninvasive vascular testing. Bendick is also the technical director of the Peripheral Vascular Diagnostic Center and director of surgical research at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.

This program is approved for six and a half category one AMA PRA CME credits accepted for physicians, nurses, ARDMS registry, and other allied health professionals.
