The Penn State Beaver Alumni Society will host its second annual Health & Fitness 5K Run/Walk, Saturday, May 17, in downtown Beaver. Registration opens at 7 a.m. and the run/walk begins at 8 a.m. The event is open to the public, and registration is now underway. Anyone who registers now will receive a T-shirt; they will not be available the day of the event. The walk/run will be held rain or shine. Proceeds will benefit the Alumni Society’s endowed scholarship for Beaver campus students and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County. Event donors and sponsors are welcome. All sponsors are guaranteed a T-shirt.
