Penn State York men's basketball team defends title, captures PSUAC crown

Reigning champions in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), the Penn State York men’s basketball team defended their title in a competitive match-up against Penn State Mont Alto on Feb. 25 at the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park. York defeated Mont Alto, 72-63, in a contest where the lead exchanged hands throughout the game. York’s record in regular season play was 22-2, 16-1 in the PSUAC.

The team now heads to Penn State Fayette to play in the U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championship. York, ranked No. 2 in the Men’s Division II Championship, plays at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 6. The game will be live-streamed in the Community Room of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center at Penn State York.
