Practical Knowledge Series to explore developing successful collaborations

Join the Penn State Hershey Office of Technology Development on Friday, March 7, for a simulcast of BioStrategy Partners Practical Knowledge Series discussing tips to create successful collaborations between industry and academia. The videoconference will run from noon to 1 p.m. at the Hershey Center for Applied Research, Room 1101.

Panelists David P. Hesson and Maureen O’Leary will share their thoughts and experiences on developing strong partnerships with industry that lead to successful outcomes. O’Leary, director of technology transfer at Monell Center, and Hesson, founder of StemGreene Inc. and RiboNova, Inc., and president of DP Hesson Consulting, provide insight through their years of experience collaborating with academic institutions.

During this program faculty and students will learn the elements of quality collaboration, including various types of collaborations and how collaborations influences publications, patents and commercialization potential.
